Even though Frigidarium looks rather ordinary and humble in looks, there’s nothing ordinary or mediocre about their ice cream…It’s a heaven on earth for ice cream lovers like myself. Situated on a picturesque street behind Piazza Navona, it’s the perfect place to pick up a delicious gelato and enjoy it while strolling around. Their ice cream is cheaper and their servings more generous than others and really tasty as well as always fresh.

One of the things that make it stand out is that if you like they can dip your ice cream in liquid chocolate witch instantly cools around it, making it even more luscious! That is without any extra charge and so is adding whipped cream ( panna ). One of the best flavors is their signature own one, Frigidarium, and it’s here where you’ll find the best Chocolate-orange gelato in Rome. Also worth trying are Cannolo siciliano, Tiramisu, Amaretto and Cinnamon. This gelateria stays open till very late, so you can always have an extra cone or scoop after your night out in the famous bars of the area.
